I was fortunate enough to be out with my good friend/photographer Wyman Meinzer during the extreme Texas drought of 2011 and capture this image of a Roadrunner coming to water. We were no more than 8 feet from this Roadrunner but the extreme conditions of drought, heat and water seemed to over ride any fear this Roadrunner might have of us.
